The Slab.
Ride. Repair. Repeat.
The worn concrete floor of a demolished car dealership becomes a place to skate, ride BMX, fix a bike, and stay awhile.
Keep the surviving slab. Add manual pads, grind rails, a small bowl, planted skate ledges, sculptural shade, and a solar-topped 20-foot repair and skate shop.

A shop in twenty feet.
A standard 20′ × 8′ × 8′6″ solar-topped container sits near the street, oriented lengthwise into the lot on the retained dealership slab. A service hatch opens onto a shaded repair apron, with a bike workbench, tools, tires, and a compact skate deck and parts display inside.
Fix the bike. Find a deck. Keep riding.
03 / Space to ride. Space to pause.
Give every line room to breathe.
Keep the shop queue and shaded seating outside the active riding area. Place low skate features along the edges, with a separate BMX skills strip and an open central apron.
The concept retains the weathered raised slab with a narrow planted seam beside the sidewalk. A clear entry path and gentle ramp connect the sidewalk to the riding area. The container sits near the street, with its length running into the lot and its service hatch facing across the park. Planter coping creates skateable ledges, with vegetables and flowers set back from the grinding edges.
